Hello Recruit !
First of all, I would like to welcome you on bahalf of the rest of the "Skill Team ", and myself, to this game. So, let me introduce myself quickly before we actually get started in order for you to have somewhat of an idea of who I am.
I'm P5ykoOHD, currently "Forum Moderator - EN" on the official SF2 Board, and creator of this Wikia. At this moment in time, I am rank 61 and have been playing both casually and competitively for over a year, since the games Beta stages. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to get in contact with me directly via the Board and it's PM system, which is by far the easiest way to reach me, as I check it on a daily basis ...

Registering a New Account & Downloading the Game
Before you try downloading the game, I would suggest you verify that you are living in a zone where you will have access to our Servers, to do so, just check what version of SF2 you need to download depending on your location:
Now, to Register a new account and Download the game, all you need to do is head to this link, and follow the very simple instructions:
As soon as your registration is done, be sure to go check your emails, and confirm the creation of your account, this is very important, as often overlooked by players. Then download the Client Launcher and let it install the game for you. If an error occurs during this process, please check the Error Database and see if I have not already mentioned it. If not, get straight to the Support first, then post about your issue on the Board .
Creating a new Character
It's your first time launching the game, as soon as you have logged in, you will be prompted to create your new Character, chosing what his name will be first as seen on the screenshot below.
